Leaving La Ceiba

Today is the day we leave La Ceiba. Our bags are all packed but we're not ready to go. We've been thinking back on our stay here and have put together a little top ten list of the things we will miss the most.

10. Ruby
She is a crazy puppy and quite an adventure companion.

9. The Colors
We are surrounded by bold colors here. Be it in nature or in stucco.

8. The Front Porch
We have reevaluated the importance of private outdoor space in our life. And with a roof and plants we are kept cool and dry in the hottest and wettest of weather.

7. Wildlife
We are surrounded by life here in all it's different varieties. From barking geckos to stray horses meandering down the street.

6. The Buses
This mode of transportation puts us in close contact with the people and the eccentricities of Honduras.

5. The Juicers
Cause a hydrated body is a happy body! And when you mix that with liquid sunshine there's nothing sweeter.

4. Stefanie and Jana
Our best buddies and constant entertainment. We will miss you very much. It would have been a lonely stay without you girls.

3. Thirteen Lmp Cervezas
There is nothing finer than a nice cold, hoppy brew for only 75 cents after a long day of cliff diving and juicing.

2. The Vegetable and Fruit Markets
All the fruits and vegetable you need, straight from the source and for next to nothing.

1. Rio Cangrejal
A magical destination, with a combination of many ideal features. Its very easy and free to get to. Once we arrive there is a safe place for us to crash or leave our stuff. The water is the cleanest and coolest that we've come across. There is ample space for tanning, swimming, cliff jumping, and exploring (things like bat caves). And the rapids make for little rides.
